Alitalia Formigoni divest slots and kill Malpensa

ROME - not to arrive late remarks of the governor of the Lombardy Region Roberto Formigoni the news that Alitalia has decided to divest slots at Malpensa. The government blocks immediately this decision irresponsible - said Formigoni - and not give in to blackmail a company that 'of his property' and that 'gia' failed. Then Formigoni attack the Government: the meetings had agreed that Alitalia would be sold en bloc slots to a company we indicated, because 'so' would ensure at Malpensa the existence of a hub. The slots are allocated by Iata for each airport to companies requesting them. Once abandoned slot, replaces the Italian Assoclearance to redistribute the slots to airlines requesting them: this' happens at the scheduling of two seasons in which 'divided air transport. At Malpensa, Alitalia has a hundred slots. (Agr)
